The Shlez Band brings together eight seasoned musicians and longtime friends united in creating an original, quality project. Three powerhouse vocalists—Yam Gronich, Keren Grotzky, and Almog Kapach—are backed by five veteran instrumentalists.
Performing original material in the genre they love most, these songs embody Ori's passion for his favorite musical style with such authenticity that, were it not for the contemporary interpretation, you might mistake them for lost recordings from the Quincy Jones archives. Their sound moves fluidly between soul and R&B, layered with lush harmonies, a tight groove, and nostalgic nods to Motown and the golden age of the '70s.
